Free iTunes Music from Safeway?

A receipt I got from Safeway today told me I had earned five free music downloads. None of cashiers knew what the deal was with this and neither did the person at the customer service booth.

As she was on the phone trying to figure it out, an ad flashed on the terminal that read "buy any five of these and get five free downloads at the iTunes Music Store." In this case, the "these" were various Safeway-brand food items like ice cream and bread.

Neither Safeway's nor Apple's site has any info that I can find, and Google doesn't turn up anything. So I'm not quite sure how to claim it yet, but periodically getting free music for buying groceries is a pretty good deal.
