ZFootball Event: Nov 6-7

Please forgive me if I'm a bit unresponsive over the next 10 days or so in terms of email, this site and side projects. The ZFootball 2004-2005 season opens in San Jose (Sunnyvale, technically) on November 6 and 7. I'm going to be quite preoccupied through then.

On the surface, I'm not sure how many people reading this are really interested in flag football. However, ZFootball boasts an interesting technology story that I'll be describing here in more detail in the future.

There's already online registration, custom message board software, team preferences and more will probably be announced before the event. 24 Hour Fitness is also on board as a sponsor this time, so all Northern California clubs have posters and registration forms available at the front desk. Based on current registrations, I except a very good turnout this year.

In related news, the San Jose NFL Youth League, which is also run by us, is proving to be a tremendous success.

If you do play flag football, you still have a few days to sign up for the San Jose event. I promise a good time. The actual event will be help at Twin Creek Sports Complex in Sunnyvale.
