Facts Found on the Internet

You can't believe everything you read on the internet, particularly when it comes to reptiles. I won't mention the specific page, but here's the quote:

"The longest snake is the Royal Python which can grow to 35 feet."

This is very, very wrong. A Royal Python (also known as a Ball Python) is about four feet long as an adult. And the longest snake ever recorded was a Reticulated Python at 32 feet (that whole 49 foot thing was a sham).

We have some mistakes at Sunnyvale Zoo, but nothing quite this glaring.
